One of My Favorite Ways to Find Value: Comparing Similar Players
When I'm trying to decide if a card is worth buying, I rarely look at it in isolation. The most useful thing I can do is find a similar player, compare their pricing side by side, and ask: does this make sense? If something looks off, there’s opportunity.
This week, I ran that exercise on two pairs of players and found something that surprised me in both cases. One card is trading at a price that looks completely wrong next to its closest comparable. The other has an upside case I don't think the market has figured out yet.
